This installation work involves the re-composition of video recordings taken while traversing the Mediterranean. Based on the concept of depicting the transformation of scenery that lies between multiple locations through a process of gradation, the Mediterranean was represented in an audio-video collage quite unlike conventional documentaries, in which landscape paintings of the Chinese Southern School (Nanzhonghua, Nanshuga) were referenced in the compositions of elements on-screen, and multicolor prints were referenced for the color structures.
